About Us

Welcome to Twinkle Toes Day Nursery, where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to shine. Our nursery was founded by Sumaya Ahmed, a qualified primary school teacher with over seven years of teaching experience and a strong passion for supporting children during their early years.

Twinkle Toes Day Nursery began as a childminding setting from Sumaya’s home. As the setting grew and demand increased, she followed her passion and vision to create a dedicated nursery where children could learn, explore, make friends and develop their confidence in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

As a teacher, Sumaya understands how important the early years are in laying the foundations for a child’s future learning and development. Her passion is to provide children with meaningful opportunities to develop their early years skills, build independence and self-esteem, and gain the confidence they need as they take their first steps towards school life.

At Twinkle Toes Day Nursery, we are committed to providing the highest level of care, support and learning for every child. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure that children feel happy, secure and valued throughout their time with us. We believe that children learn best when they are having fun, exploring their interests and building positive relationships with the adults and children around them.

We promote important values such as independence, self-esteem, kindness, mutual respect and responsibility through our everyday activities and interactions. We also encourage children to understand and respect the diverse world around them, supporting their understanding of British values from an early age.

Our vision is simple: to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can play, learn, grow and shine. We want every child who comes through our doors to feel confident, cared for and excited about learning, while giving them the strong foundations they need for a happy and successful start to school.
